The museum offers tour guide services to enhance your visit, including scheduled guided tours, group tours(reservations are required for groups of over 20 people), and audio guides.

Scheduled guided tours

Guided tours are available exclusively in Mandarin. Each session lasts between 30 and 40 minutes, and registration is required at the Information Counter before the start of each session.

Tours are scheduled on :

Weekdays at 10:00, 11:00, 14:00, 15:00

Holidays at 10:00, 11:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00.

Group Tours Reservation

For groups of more than 20 people, please apply online before the visit(click)or call 02-86772727 (ext. 710 or 711) to make reservations. The museum will make arrangements based on availability. Please note that the tour may be shortened or canceled if the group arrives late.

 

The following are the available tour themes:

 

Permanent exhibitions overview(30 to 40 min.)

 

In-depth tour of permanent exhibitions. You could select individual galleries to gain a better understanding of each theme. (20 to 30 min. for each segment)

     Gallery 201:  Development of Ceramics in Taiwan.

     Gallery 202: Yingge Ceramics Town.

     Gallery 203: Prehistoric and Aboriginal Ceramics.

     Gallery 204: Industrial and Fine Ceramics.

     Special exhibition on the 3rd floor (30 to 40 min.)

 

Tactile experience (20 to 30 min.)

 

Outdoor Ceramics Sculpture Park (30 to 50 min.)

 

Special education student tours (20 or 40 min, depending on circumstances)

Audio Guides

The language options available include Mandarin, English, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Taiwanese, Hakka, Amis, and Atayal. We also provide a Mandarin audio guide suitable for children. This comprehensive audio guide encompasses over 50 entries and permanent exhibitions, including Ceramics Park.

 

 

Please note that the audio guide can only be accessed using your smartphone phone. You can listen to the guide by scanning the QR code on the galleries with your smartphone.
